This Bf-109E-4/B of the 5./JG51 with their typical, early years "Weeping Bird" on the fuselage behind the cross was painted in RLM 02/72/65 colors. Dark RLM 71 patches additionaly covered the previous tactical numbers and fuselage. The engine cowling and rudder were yellow. The red writing "Achtung Anfänger" means "Attention Beginner".
